由於冬天寒冷，而春天又有一些霜凍，因此不得不密切關注葡萄的生長情況。

葡萄花開得併不非常旺盛，並且連綿潮濕的天氣為疾病提供了溫床。夏天氣溫比較溫和。幸運的是，9月份天氣不錯，因此能夠靜心等待直到葡萄完全成熟，採摘期較晚。

香氣撲鼻，富有表現力，酒精濃郁。帶有成熟透頂的紅果香。酒體優良，口感精緻而復雜。非常圓潤，餘味悠長，還有一絲香料的味道。

A magnificent sleeper of the vintage, the 2008 Duhart Milon is the shrewd consumer's wine to purchase by the case as prices do not yet reflect its qualitative resurgence. Composed of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot that came in at 13.09% alcohol, it is a surprisingly intense effort displaying a marvelous texture, plenty of black currant, licorice, unsmoked cigar tobacco and earthy characteristics, a full-bodied mouthfeel and stunning purity as well as density. Enjoy this top-notch 2008 over the next 20-25 years. RP
